Crystals and the Attributes of the Five Elements

The Tao follows Nature; the Five Elements follow the Heavens. One stone, one color—all are traces of the breath of Heaven and Earth.

The Supreme Taoist Ancestor Lao Tzu said: "All living things carry Yin and embrace Yang, blending their Qi to achieve Harmony." These crystals, imbued with the Spiritual Qi of the cosmos, are the very incarnation of this harmonious union. In the Taoist view, all things in the universe transform from the Five Elements—Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. The colors of crystals are the most direct manifestation of these five elemental forces falling upon the mortal world.

  • White belongs to Metal (Gold): Like White Crystal. Pure and solemn, corresponding to the West. It governs Wealth and Decisiveness.

  • Green belongs to Wood: Like Green Crystal. Abundant with life, corresponding to the East. It governs Health and Vitality.

  • Blue and Black belong to Water: Like Black Crystal. Deep and tranquil, corresponding to the North. It governs Wisdom and Purification.

  • Red and Purple belong to Fire: Like Amethyst. Radiant and ascending, corresponding to the South. It governs Love and Vitality.

  • Yellow belongs to Earth: Like Citrine. Holding the "Great Virtue that Carries All Things," occupying the Center. It governs Protection and Stability.

道法自然，五行循天。一石一色，皆是天地呼吸的痕跡。

太上道祖老子曰：“萬物負陰而抱陽，沖氣以為和。”這蘊含天地靈氣的晶石，便是陰陽和合的化身。在道家看來，宇宙間的萬物皆由金、木、水、火、土五行幻化而成，而水晶的色彩，正是這五種元素落在人間最直觀的體現。 

  • 白色屬金，如白水晶，清淨肅穆，對應西方，主財富與決斷。
  • 綠色屬木，如綠水晶，生機盎然，對應東方，主健康與生機。
  • 藍與黑色屬水，如黑水晶，深沉寧靜，對應北方，主智慧與淨化。
  • 紅與紫色屬火，如紫水晶，光耀升騰，對應南方，主愛情與活力。
  • 黃色屬土，如黃水晶，厚德載物，居中央，主守護與穩固。
