Living with a Clear Conscience

In life, one does not necessarily need to live in glory and grandness, but one must live with uprightness and integrity. In our actions, we need not demand absolute perfection, but we must act with a clear conscience. If your eyes can accommodate others, your path forward will grow ever wider, and if your heart harbors benevolence, your endeavors will proceed with effortless grace. Treat everyone around you with absolute sincerity, cherish all that you have in the present moment, and always hold fast to your inner goodness. Focus on elevating your own spirit; in this way, you will be worthy of your own heart.

The Passing Clouds of Vanity

The prosperity and glamour of this world are like passing clouds and smoke, vanishing in the blink of an eye. Just as the Supreme Ancestor Lao Tzu taught in the Tao Te Ching: "The great man dwells in the substantial and not in the superficial; he dwells in the true fruit and not in the flashy flower." A true person of virtue holds fast to a simple and unadorned nature, refusing to be tainted by shallow vanity. They uphold their solid, original intention rather than chasing the illusions of the surface.

The Smooth Path Forward

We must not allow ourselves to be deluded by external splendor. Instead, we should broaden our paths through humility and tolerance, and move forward steadily with a sincere and grounded heart. Only by walking this path can the journey of life be truly open, harmonious, and smooth.

秉持本心

做人，未必要活得風風光光，但務必做到堂堂正正；行事不必苛求盡善盡美，卻一定要問心無愧。眼裏能容納他人，前行的道路便會愈發開闊，胸中若懷揣仁愛，行事便會更加順暢。以赤誠之心對待周遭的每一個人，珍惜當下所擁有的一切，始終堅守內心的純良，專注於自我提升，如此便能無愧於心。

這世間的繁華如過眼雲煙，轉瞬即逝。正如太上道祖老子在《道德經》中所言：“大丈夫處其厚不居其薄，處其實不居其華”，真正的君子會堅守質樸的品格，而不沾染浮華的淺薄，會秉持實在的初心，而非追逐表面的虛榮。

我們不應被外在的風光所迷惑，而應在謙遜包容中拓寬道路，在心懷真誠中踏實前行，人生方能通達順遂。
